Andy Schmidt is a managing director and taxable municipal trader at Â鶹´«Ã½. In this role, he focuses on trading maturities outside of ten years, as well as California credits.

Schmidt joined Â鶹´«Ã½ with its acquisition of Seattle Northwest Securities in 2013.  Prior to his time at Seattle Northwest Securities, he served as head of operations and compliance for a small Seattle broker-dealer.

Schmidt graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
