Andrew Walz is a director in the Â鶹´«Ã½ public finance office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He joined Â鶹´«Ã½ following a 14-year career in municipal government, most recently serving as manager of North Strabane for eight years after spending six years as manager of Hempfield Township.

In addition to his professional roles, Walz has been an active leader in his community. He has served on the boards of the Washington County Hospital Authority, the Washington County Industrial Development Authority and the Municipal Benefit Services Board. He is the immediate past president of the Washington County Association of Township Officials and has held various leadership positions within his local parish and regional organizations.

Walz holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Saint Vincent College. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing, shooting sporting clays and organizing the occasional friendly poker game. He and his wife have two sons.
