John Fay
John Fay oversees the equity cash trading desk at Â鶹´«Ã½, joining the firm through the 2019 acquisition of Weeden & Co.
Prior to his current role, he acted as a sector trader focused on financials for six years, an equity trader at Weeden for 15 years and performed a similar role at UBS from 1998 to 2006. Fay and his team utilize the firm’s platform and technology to provide seamless, professional and high-quality execution to clients worldwide. The desk also works closely with the Â鶹´«Ã½ research teams to provide clients’ trading desks with pertinent and timely calls and information.
Fay attended Fairfield University and graduated in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He has lived in Darien, Connecticut, with his wife, Christina, and four children since 2002.
