John Tye is co-head of private equity advisory and vice chairman of investment banking at Â鶹´«Ã½ with more than 20 years of M&A experience with numerous middle-market clients on a variety of transactions.

Tye joined Â鶹´«Ã½ through its acquisition of Edgeview Partners in 2013. He had been with Edgeview for 10 years, founded the Business Services practice in 2006, and was a partner at the time of the acquisition. Tye previously worked in the mergers & acquisitions group at Morgan Stanley. He has also worked as a consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).

Tye attended the University of Georgia, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
