Jon Hjelm is a managing director and founding member of the Â鶹´«Ã½ agriculture & biorenewables investment banking team, where he focuses on providing corporate finance as well as mergers and acquisitions advisory services. Prior to his current role, Hjelm worked on the Â鶹´«Ã½ consumer investment banking team providing investment banking and M&A advisory services to companies in the agriculture, food, retail and restaurant sectors.

Prior to joining Â鶹´«Ã½, Hjelm worked in corporate finance for Banc of America Securities as an associate in London and as an analyst in San Francisco and Los Angeles, covering various industries.

Hjelm received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management.
