Patrick McCormack, M.D., is a managing director in the healthcare investment banking group. McCormack is based in San Francisco and focused on advising biopharma and biotech companies on mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising transactions.

Prior to joining Â鶹´«Ã½, McCormack worked at Wells Fargo Securities, where he served as an executive director in biopharma investment banking. Before Wells Fargo, he held senior roles at Goldman Sachs & Co., SVB Leerink and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. 

McCormack earned his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine and anesthesiology. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and cell science from the University of Florida.
