Mathews will be based in the firm鈥檚 new Baton Rouge, Louisiana office, and will work with an existing team of public finance bankers in Memphis to build the firm鈥檚 presence in the area.
Prior to joining the firm, Mathews was a vice president in commercial banking at J.P. Morgan. While in commercial banking, Mathews worked with government clients and managed diverse facets of the relationship including cash management, purchasing government backed securities, and debt financing through bank direct purchases.
