Tipler has over 20 years of experience working with financial sponsors and was most recently the head of North American private equity at Lazard Fr猫res & Co. LLC. Before that, he was the co-lead of the sponsor coverage group at Lazard Middle Market. Tipler started his career as an attorney at Fredrikson & Byron. He received a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at University of Minnesota and received his law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
